DNSSEC Mini-Workshop
Tuesday 5 April 2005

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Many risks for the DNS system are known (see RFC 3833) and in 2001 a special public meeting of ICANN called for adding secure operation to the DNS.  RFCs 4033, 4034 and 4035 for DNSSEC are now published (as of the workshop date).

However, the motivations, timing, and tools in DNSSEC deployment are not "one size fits all". The DNSSEC Deployment Initiative is conducting workshops and summit meetings to discuss DNSSEC with folks from RIR, ccTLD, gTLD and registrar operations, among others. This workshop will present up-to-date information and hopes to learn from the participants what coordination support is most valuable to them.
