About the DNSSEC Deployment Coordination Initiative
The DNSSEC Deployment Initiative works to encourage all sectors to voluntarily adopt security measures that will improve security of the Internet’s naming infrastructure, as part of a global, cooperative effort that involves many nations and organizations in the public and private sectors. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security provides support for coordination of the initiative.
One of the important elements of the initiative is support for a working group of early adopters and experts in the development of the protocol and related technologies. There is both a mailing list with an archive and meeting summaries available.
There is a list of volunteer organizations and service providers willing to host signed domains and provide other services, e.g., signing your zone. If you are willing to volunteer or are a service provider there are instructions with the list for getting added to it.
You can learn more about our partners and others engaged in efforts to deploy the protocol here.
